Visiting Dada

Today we had lunch at Applebee's. When I told Brett that, suddenly his packed lunch didn't look as good, so at the end of our lunch we ordered some food to go and brought it to him!

Brayden loves Brett's office! Mostly because he has a ball and a hoop!

And also because he like to play with Dada!

Brayden's First Art Project

Brayden hung out with Bebo and Grammy on Thursday and they gave him some markers and a piece of paper to see what he would do. Here is his first art project! They said he had a good time. When we got him home we noticed little marker lines on his legs too, but I think most of it stayed on the paper... :)

Sleeping through dinner....

Thursday morning I woke up, and something wasn't right. I thought, maybe it was the normal morning sickness? Then it lasted all day! By 2pm I called Brett and told him he had to come home (Grammy is out of town). For some reason, my stomach wouldn't even tolerated a sip of water.

I am so thankful that Brett was able to come home Thursday and then also take Friday off! However, it was quite interesting to watch Brett take over "my job". I laughed to myself a little when Brett exclaimed, "staying home with Brayden is easy!" as I looked around and the house was a disaster, laundry and dishes untouched, etc. Overall though, it was really fun to see Brett and Bray really have such a good time together! They rarely get to spend the day just the two of them...

Brett had a theory that if Brayden didn't nap, then he would fall asleep pretty easily at 7:30pm, well here is a video of Brayden as he is halfway through dinner at 6pm.

Small Group Babies

Brett and I have been in the same couple's small group since the beginning of our marriage. We were, for the most part, a group of newlywed couples. Then Brett and I found out we were expecting and like dominos, three more "small group baby girls" arrived shortly after Brayden!

They are all starting to get to the age to "play" together! Brayden is running circles around them, but Cora is doing her best to keep up with crawling and Adaline is soo close! The Anderson's are also expecting another one a day after our due date (September 6th!). Maybe a boy so that Brayden is completely outnumbered???

We enjoyed having all the girls over yesterday for lunch... :)

Weekend Surprise!

Dad surprised both Brett and Jacob by calling and asking if they wanted to leave for San Diego... In 3 hours! Our cousin Michael had a PGA tournament so they all went to cheer him on!
