Sienna Practicing her Strut! (10.5 Months)

Sienna has been practicing her strut more and more these days.

She can cross the yard with her walker.

Just this morning we were upstairs and she held on to a laundry basket, pulled herself up and started to use that to walk across the room.  She will also pull herself up on Brandy and walk with her around the kitchen... although Brandy (our golden retriever) hasn't proven to be a stable walking tool.

Any opportunity to get up on two legs, she takes it!

The Words of a Two Year Old.

Love the way Brayden's mind works.

It's been so rainy and cloudy here.  Finally today we saw a little sunshine.  Brayden ran to the door and exclaimed almost in disbelief, "Hey Sunshine, is that you?  Is that you sunshine?  Mom, see the sunshine!"

I was mowing the yard today, during Sienna's 1st nap, and the mower ran out of gas.  Brayden was out in the yard with me.  When it stopped he looked at me and said, "Want me to get more batteries Mom?"

Tonight we were making chicken corn chowder and its SO much better with fresh roasted corn (vs. frozen).  I asked Brayden, "want to run to Fred Meyer and grab some fresh corn?"  He replied, "No, remember we go to the store to get cookies, cookies with the M&M's.  Let's go!"  (Most of you know that the bakery gives kids a free M&M cookie)  And of course, that is the only reason to go to Fred Meyer, to get a cookie with M&M's.

Just a couple of the many things that keep us laughing every day.  Love him.  :)

Little Girl Giggles

Last weekend Brett and I went on a trip with friends to Lake Wenatchee.  Brayden stayed at his Mammy & B-Bo's and we missed him.  However, it was fun to spoil Sienna with our attention.

Here's a little video of our Princess.  I was taking a picture of her last week in our backyard, and a had a plastic baseball bat  in my hand.  I hit it on the ground to get her attention and she erupted in laughter!

My little Brayden is all boy!

Today I thought I would "multi-task".  Brayden wanted to play with the hose, I wanted my plants watered, perfect!  I gave him the host and directed him towards the job!  While I was taking care of Sienna, Brayden realized that the hose was not only good for watering plants...  It can also make mud!

Oh boy!  I let him get all dirty (as long as the mud didn't leave the puddle) and then he came in for a good soak in the sink.

I love this picture.  Brayden was on Brett's shoulders when he spotted his "But But & Juju" coming from across the park.  He screamed with excitement and was off and running to greet them.

It's so cute because you can see Juju is running with excitement too!

Brayden is so lucky to have such a fun auntie & uncle.  :)

Brayden danced, and danced, and danced at the wedding.  Finally nearing 10pm Grammy took the Dancin' Machine home.
