On the move!

Brayden is on the move! Two days ago (Jan. 26th) Brayden rolled over for the first time! He was having some "tummy time" on our ottoman in our family room. I was snapping pictures while he was playing and "chatting". I snapped a picture, then looked down and at my camera and out of the corner of my eye saw him flop over from his tummy to his back! He just laid there in awe of what had just happened! He froze in his position on his back with his neck arched. I put my camera on video mode as I rolled him over to get a video and just as I got him back to his tummy and I was turning the video on he rolled again! I got about half of the roll on video but was so surprised by his sudden movement that I dropped it! Luckily I had the strap around my wrist! Here are some before and after pictures of his first roll.

Above you can see him start to swing his feet!

The landing! He just froze in that position trying to figure out what just happened!

Dad was impressed when he got home from work.

Giggles

Brayden started laughing for the first time in Hawaii! It is so cute! We discovered a trick that is almost sure to make him laugh if he is in the right mood. He thinks that sneezing and hiccups are hillarious! Here is a clip of Brett working his magic!

P.S. You will notice he is on the counter. He just loves bright colors and all babies have a very good sense of smell. When I put him up by the roses his eyes perked up and he was very into them! He was just sitting there staring in awe of the roses...

Lovin' Hawaii

We have had soo much fun over the last week and a half in Hawaii!!!

We have enjoyed this fun and relaxing time.  It has been so nice to spend this time with our family, not to mention the free and convenient babysitting!  Tonight we went out to a Luau with Jacob, Julie, Michael and Kristina.  When we got home we found Grandma Lois, Papa, Bebo, Grammy and Uncle Greg all in a circle around Bray.  They were all cheering him on and smiling as just practiced holding his head up while laying on his tummy.  Bray, being the first baby in a long time, has been quite the star!  He is three months old and we are seeing lots of changes!  He is getting so strong and holding his  head up and looking sturdier than ever! It is so cute to see him work so hard at it!  His vocabulary (if that is what you call it) is getting growing.  It started out and simple goo's and gaa's and now we hear all kinds of "words", loud and quiet.

He is especially fond of Uncle Greg!  Greg can always get a smile out of Bray!  They are also close because they are on the same nap schedule.  I will put Bray down for a nap and come back in and see Greg napping with him!  Typical college student...

We have probably over a thousand pictures from this trip between my camera, Kristina's, Mom's, Julie's, Dad's, etc...  Here are just a couple...

All of the boys...

We went to a lei making class earlier in the day and wore the lei's to dinner that night.

Brett and Michael have had such a good time spending hours on the boogie boards!

Going to Hawaii!

Bray is still yawning, someone forgot to grab his Starbucks!

Happy Boy - All six hours of the flight!

Sleeping in...

Going out for a morning walk along the beach!

First dip in the pool!

Christmas!

...Baby Bray's 1st Christmas...

Waking up to see what Santa left...

Bray got soo many nice presents this Christmas!  I think that Brett liked this present just as much as Bray will.  His first basketball hoop!

Dad (Grandpa Bebo) got a blonde wig from Grandma Lois!  He always said that Brayden likes Mom (Grammy) better because she is blonde.  Grandma thought the wig may help him out!

Snuggling with Greg and smiling in his sleep...

Brayden's First Basketball Game!

Brayden went to his first basketball game on December 23rd!  And of course you can't go to a basketball game without wearing your Jordan basketball shoes!

He got to watch his dad, and all of his uncles (Greg, Michael & Andrew) play in the Life Christian Alumni Basketball Game...
