Silly Boy...

Brayden just cracks me up!

See picture below.  I told Brayden as I was taking this, "Brayden, lay like Sienna."  He then ran off, on a mission for something.  When he came back, I realized he went and found one of Sienna's pink pacifiers.  He took "lay like Sienna" LITERALLY!  :)

Below, he is posed for his picture, just like Sienna.  :)

Brayden has been on this kick for a few weeks where he HAS TO have a pencil (or pen, highlighter, crayon, etc.) in his ear.  Mostly because whenever Brett is using his tools, he has a pencil in his ear.  However, pens and pencils DO NOT stay in his ear.  Which means that each time they fall out, Brayden complains, gets upset and asks me to put it back in.  One day we got silly and found a solution to the pen falling out of his ear...

Anytime Bray can get into the garage he will go to the car and request, "driving?  driving?", which means he would like to sit in the drivers seat and pretend to drive, just like Mama & Dada do.  He loves to pretend to do what we do!  Sometime when I am working in the laundry room (right by the garage) I let him "drive".  A few days ago, he was "driving" and I went to check on Sienna for a minute.  I came back to this...

What do you do when you are driving?  Well of course you take breaks to pull the mirror down and apply lip gloss, to your face.  :)

Sienna Dedication & Pumpkin Carving

Sunday was a fun and busy day!

We started the day with Sienna's dedication at our church, Life Center.  We were so happy to see so many family members and friends come!  Then we had everyone over for lunch after service.

After that we headed off to Dad & Mom's for our annual pumpkin carving contest!  Highlight was that our little nephew Jantzen (Michael & Kik's baby boy) came to join us, only four days old!

After a busy weekend, then hosting two dozen people for lunch, etc. I was pretty wiped out when we got home at 10pm.  Sienna had been able to sleep a bit more during the day, compared to what we normally let her do.  I have to brag about my hubby, he took Sienna and told me to go to bed.  So nice to go to bed by myself when I felt like it!  I got to sleep in too (8:00am)!  I woke up and Brett was taking care of Brayden and had cleaned the whole house!  (We went straight from the dedication lunch to run to moms for pumpkin carving, so there was quite a bit to clean up).  What a sweet guy...  :)

While all the girls chatted away in the living room, the guys crashed on the couch and watched the Seahawks game.

Four Generations of Girls!

Sienna & Jantzen, can't wait to watch these two grow up together.  :)

Brayden looked at Sienna the other day and said, "Whoa!  Get so big!"  She has grown so much in the last (almost) 8 weeks!

Some serious carving going on...

Michael & I have been more like brother/sister than cousins.  Our families have been close, we had the same friends growing up, same school, same "area" for college and he married one of my best friends!  So fun that he had a boy and I had a girl at the same time.  It will be fun to watch Sienna & Jantzen be buddies like Michael & I have been.

Brett carved a pumpkin for all four of us!  Says "O 4".  :)

Builder Day with B-Bo

On Saturday B-Bo and Brayden went to Fort Steilacoom where they had tons of constructions vehicles, tractors, dump trucks and more!  All for little ones to play in.  Brayden had soo much fun and is still talking about the dump trucks and how loud their horns were!

B-Bo made this cute video of their day together.  Click on the link below.

Brayden's Birthday

Brayden had such a good birthday!  On Monday {October 11th} he turned TWO.

He had a big party on Saturday, so his actual birthday was low key & fun.  Brett is such a good Dada, he was leaving that night for Florida to caddy for our cousin Michael in a golf tournament.  He took a night flight so that he could be with Brayden on his birthday.  He was also extremely busy with work, trying to get out of town, but still made time for a birthday lunch for Brayden and to accompany me to their doctor appointments.

I carried my camera around with me throughout the day to captured just a few of the moments.

Brayden's 1st Haircut

Brayden's almost two years old, so it was time to trim the baby ringlets into toddler curls!

Brett was too nervous to help me do the haircut at home so he had us wait till we could get assistance from Mom & Julie. We had a nice dinner at Dad & Mom's (w/ Jacob, Julie, Papa & Grandma) then got to trimming.

Baby Sienna likes his new hair style and smiled as she talked to her B-Bo about it.
