My dad (kids call him their "B-Bo") ran his first marathon today. A few reasons this is amazing. 1. I never ever saw him run as we were growing up, unless we were late to catch a plane. 2. He just started running within the last couple years. 3. He injured himself a couple weeks ago and took a break from training.
To quote him as we met him at the finish line, "I hit a wall at mile three and just kept going"...
Way to go B-Bo!!! :)
Brayden and I enjoyed the rest of the day together. :) Ran some errands and went on a dinner date! I asked him to smile and he said he would smile like a pirate would.
