We had a wonderful time a couple weeks ago at Sun Lakes Resort in Eastern Washington!
We got on a summer trip every year with the Bodine side of the family. Unfortunately, Julie and Jacob already had plans to be in California. Greg also couldn't make it this year. Brett and I had a two bedroom house that was rented and we were the only ones staying in it, so we brought replacements! Quincy and Jake stepped in for Julie and Jacob. Kristina (Michael was traveling) stepped in for Greg!
We all had so much fun! Brayden loved having "his friends" along. It is so cute to hear him call them each by name. Kristina is "Kikis", Quincy is "Goose" (He is trying to say "Q", but Goose is much more fun so we just go with it now) and Jake is "Wii" (because Jake likes to the play the Wii when he comes over).
Here are a few random pictures. Kristina (our famous family photographer) has most of the pictures and has been mostly on the road since this trip, so I am still short a lot of photos...
I thought Brayden would snuggle up with me on the boat and snooze a little for his afternoon nap. All it took was a two minute walk down to the docks to get him to crash! He was out and surprised to wake up on the boat in the middle of the lake.
"Kikis" and I with our baby bellies!
There is Kikis & her camera!
Brayden loved the beach there.
Uncle Steve spent a lot of time holding Brayden while we were there. Every once and a while Bray would try to get down and Uncle Steve would just hold him. Brayden would tell me he is "stuck", and the two of them would just keep hanging out. :)
Grammy (aka Mammy) and Bebo took him for the majority of one of the days so I could hang out on the boat with all our friends and cousins. They had lots of fun! Bebo even took him for a sea-doo ride to come say hi to us all on the boat. His favorite words this trip were "BIG BUS!" (which was every motor home he passes), "Sea-Doo" and "Boat".
Brett's getting pretty good at wake-surfing!
Our cousin Karli was the only one brave enough to take Brett up on a Sea-Doo ride!
We get together as a family every few months to celebrate birthdays. This time it was a birthday party for Mom, Dad, Ryan, Charlotte and Terri. And of course Brayden hung in there so he could be sung to and blow out the candles... :)
