Four Month Check-Up!

Brayden had his four month check up this morning and all is looking good!  He weighs 15 pounds and is almost 27 inches long!  He is still in the 90% for height and now in the 50% for weight.

We have seen so many changes as we approached four months.  He is continuing to "talk" to us, but learning all the different sounds that his voice can make!  He went through a phase for a week or two where we called him the "happy pterodactyl".  It is not a sound that I could even begin to replicate, but it was soo funny!  It was somewhat of a screeching noise that seemed to shock even him!  He also has learned that coughing is funny.  He had a little time period where at first I thought he was sick, but then it turned out to be more a of cough noise that he was entertained by making.  Bebo discovered that if he is in the mood, and you cough at him, we will smile and start to cough back!

Another thing that is a big deal in our four month olds life is hands!  It is hilarious to watch how he will just stare at his fingers as he moves them and then reaches to grab for something. Anything that is within his reach, he will grab and it will go straight to his mouth if possible!

Our favorite change has been the smiles!  He has become this little bundle of smiles everywhere we go! Anyone that comes up to him and smiles is almost sure to get a smile in return!  It is so contagious!

Below are some pictures of our appointment this morning and also some cute ones from the last week or so...

I thought this picture (below) was so cute!  He is just learning to grab at things and toes have been pretty popular in his world.  He continues to love bath time.  He is such a wiggly guy as soon as he gets in there!

Below is a picture of a different "bath time", but it shows just how much fun you can have getting washed in the sink!

We have had such sunny but cold weather!  During the sun breaks it has been fun to spend time in the back yard and get some fresh air.  Bray gets a kick out of watching Brandy (our golden) play fetch in the backyard!  Although in this picture, he looks pretty bored! haha!  But trust me, he enjoys it...  =)

Brett has been working hard in the backyard over the last week.  Our Uncle Steve (my dad's brother) let him borrow his excavator to do some major yard remodel.  Brett refers to it as a toy!  Bray is pretty entertained by watching the excavator pull out big root balls and shrubs!

On Saturday we spent the day doing some shopping in Seattle.  We swung by Jacob and Julie's new home!  Their offer was just accepted last week and they are looking forward to starting their life together in their "new" home!  We stopped by to check it out.  Bray practiced knocking on the door to say hello to them!

Jill - he has changed so much since I saw him last! As always, such a cutie! Tag does the same thing with his hands - looks at them for what seems like for ever, so cute.
