He is growing and changing every day! He had his first smile when he was two and a half weeks old! Grammy feels pretty lucky that she was the first to have a big grin with eye contact. We got so excited and as soon as Bray gave her a smile and she handed him to me and as soon as she did, he was not interested in smiling and very interested in lunch, haha! To Bray, mom = food! After I nursed him, he thanked me with a big smile! Soo cute to see that grin, showing his gums and all.
He is also working on holding his head up! He loves to spend time on his tummy moving his head from side to side and holding his legs up in the air. We are noticing more and more when we talk and play with him that he is starting to make noises back! He is really making good eye contact with people.
Brett and I are also really excited that his stretches of sleep are getting longer and longer. Last night we got six hours in a row! Which was amazing! He is learning that in the middle of the night it is time to nurse and go right back to bed. So even when our sleep in interrupted, it is just for a short time. In the beginning, there was no difference from day to night for Bray.
I will post pictures soon! Things have been busy as we just moved a few days ago...
