19th Annual Trip to SunRiver

We just got back for a week's vacation in SunRiver with the Putnam's!  It was such a nice vacation for us.  We had lots of fun activities, such as (you guessed it!) golf, swimming in the pool, rafting down the river, competitive games of catchphrase, take four and monopoly, basketball, tetherball, and a daily bike rides throughout SunRiver.

Our little boy is getting more and more active and it lasts all day.  In the evening all I had to do was have a cold bowl of ice cream and lay on my back and he would put on quite a show for the family.  It was fun to see the cousins react to my tummy moving around and kicking!  Almost everyone got to interact with him!

Towards the end of our trip we had to say goodbye for a couple months to Greg.  He is on his way back to Biola (in Los Angeles) for school!  The next time we see him I probably won't be pregnant anymore and he will get to meet his new nephew!  =)

While we were on vacation our house in sale closed!  That was a good feeling!  Yesterday we signed papers for the house we are purchasing.  We get keys today and will begin the remodel soon (the house is pretty outdated).

Below are some funny pictures of the whole family
(Except Chloe who was on a missions trip to Africa. We missed her!)

1st Baby Shower!

I had so much fun at my first baby shower!  Rachel Kemak (a good friend from church) and Kristina Putnam (my cousin!) threw a fantastic party.  We had everything from cakes shaped like diapers, yummy cheese and chocolate fondue, fun games, etc.!  Our little baby boy definitely was spoiled with lots of cute clothes and gifts too!

A quick picture with Brett before the shower.
He was on his way to move the last few things out of our house we sold.

The hostesses!

30 weeks!

30 Weeks and growing everyday!
My sister and I used to wear the same size in everything!
We thought this would be a fun pic to compare a "before pregnancy" and "30 weeks along"!
(Also, she would like you to notice the BLING on her left ring finger. Julie and Jacob will be so much fun and "Auntie and Uncle" for our baby!)
Monthly Update:
Everything is going great with pregnancy! My last appointment I was tested for everything under the sun. I am right on schedule and both baby and I are really healthy! I still feel really great! I owe that to all my my walking buddies that walk Chamber's Bay with me! =) The baby is moving a lot, squirming when I have a cold bowl of ice cream, getting the hiccups everyday, and making my belly shift from one side to the other! Both Brett and I have had so much fun watching him move around!
Brett and I have had a lot changes in the last couple months! We decided to move, put our house on the market and are living with Mom, Dad and Greg for the time being. We have been blessed to sell our house in this slow market. We also are closing on another home purchase that is located in a much safer and family friendly neighborhood! Everything has gone so smoothly and we owe a lot of that to friends and family! A big thanks to Mom and Dad for taking us in this summer! We are also really grateful for all the friends that helped us move (Mom, Greg, Jake, Jordan & Jen Lee, Seth & Kristin Anderson, Todd, David). There is no way that we could have done it by ourselves. We still have a bit of a journey as our new home is very dated and we are going to update it before we move in, so we are looking at a busy summer! We will have a nice break though, with our annual weeklong trip to SunRiver with the Putnams coming up soon!
Brett and I appreciate you all and will keep you updated as we get closer to our due date!

Wrapping up the 2nd Trimester

Last weekend we enjoyed time with all of the Bodine's in Crescent Bar!
We started off the trip by watching "Uncle Jacob" propose to Julie at their church in Bellevue!  We are so excited that he is going to be a part of our family!!!

Our baby boy is continuing to move a lot and grow everyday!

Sorry for the delay in updating. The last couple weeks have been so busy and we have so much fun! Our little boy has been so active as well! We have had another doctor appointment and everything looks perfect and on schedule.
My tummy has grown ALOT over the last month as well!

Brett's first father's day! We were so lucky that the weather was gorgeous!

*All the dad's on the Bodine side*

Our three year anniversary Brett surprised me with beautiful roses in a crystal vase!

Then out to dinner at El Gaucho!

The weekend before we spent in Crescent Bar (Eastern Washington).

We had so much fun and we were glad to see the sun!

The weekend before that we were in Cannon Beach with family. We loved staying right on the water, going for walks, skim boarding, kite flying, playing with the dogs, etc..

*We are down here enjoying ourselves in Ocean Shores!  Lots of walking on the beach, kite flying, playing with the dogs, golfing, etc.!  Last night it felt like the baby was doing summersaults and cartwheels.  It was fun for the family to watch the baby move all around in my tummy!

It's a little dude!

We found out yesterday that we are having a boy! We are so excited! We both actually were guessing a boy, just because he has been so incredibly active over the last month.
Stopping at Starbucks on our way to go find out!
The doctor's office was quiet... Until these two showed up!

Getting the Ultrasound.
The nurse knew right away, but we wanted to find out later.

The nurse told Julie. She had two cards, one that said girl, one that said boy.
Julie did an excellent job of starring the boy card so that there would be no confusion. =)

After our appointment we went for a walk down by Owen's Beach in Point Defiance.
Brett sat down and took a peak first.
This is his face right after he found out he is going to have a son.

It's a BOY!
