It's been weeks since I have sat down to do a post. Summertime has been busy! And so fun!
I have been working part time for an amazing gym in Fircrest called Figures! I have really enjoyed it! We also have been painting, and painting and painting... I used to like painting, but we just wrapped up our project and at the moment I hate it. The thought of painting our house seemed simple, but all that cutting in was so time consuming. Brett and I did it all ourselves and it is a good feeling to check it off the list! We also have been having lots of fun with family and friends! Here are a couple highlights of the last month!
Brayden was dedicated at Life Center!

Our good friends Terry and Kristal Mensonides had another little boy (their second)! Kristal and brand new handsome baby Tate are on the right.

Jordan and Jen Lee had a beautiful baby girl!
Little Vienna Loren Lee is in Carly's arms on the right.
We had a BBQ with our "camping friends" to get some planning done before the big vacation! All we have is baby toys so Brett took this big box and turned it into a fort for the kids. Both Coleson and Gunnar are 2 years old and they had a pretty good time! So did Bray! I was surprised at how he was playing with them! He is becoming less of a little baby and more of a little boy every day.
Our friend's Lori and Eric were married at a beautiful outdoor venue!
A picture of Brayden, dancing with his date, Cora Huff!
My favorite boys! I love them!
Brayden LOVES Brandy...
First dip in the lake!

Brayden is becoming such a busy boy and into everything! A quick learner though. I decided that I didn't want to baby proof the entire house. There are some things that need to be put away, but also I think it is good for Bray to learn boundaries. First boundary that was set was that dog food is not people food! We have Brandy's dog food in the laundry room and keep that door shut most of the time, but occasionally when I am doing laundry and he is scooting around, he will wander in there and go straight for it! It took one session of telling him "no" and a couple little slaps on the hand and he learned really quick what no means. He has tested me once since then with just putting his hand above the dog food and looking at me. Then I say "no" and he moves on to much more exciting things like looking into the dryer... =) I am soo excited about how quick he is learning! He went for something else a couple days later and I just told him "no" and he left it alone. It's such a grey area of discipline when they are this young so I am glad that it is going well so far! =)
Anyway, speaking of Brayden discovering new things, below is a picture of his discovering CD's! He figured out how to open the cabinet. He just likes to look at them (as of right now) so I let him browse... =)
Greg put his socks on Brayden and they thought it was pretty silly...
Swimming in our pool!
