We enjoyed a wonderful 5 day trip to Arizona and have been settling back in this week. We got to stay with our friends the Palmers, along with the Allans and Putnams too. Really fun group of friends! Our cousin, Michael, played in a tournament, so we went to cheer him on and spend time with them.
Just Brett, Sienna and I went. I was worried a little about how Sienna would do on the plane, she did WONDERFUL! Slept both flights, each time fell asleep before take off and we had to wake her up when we landed. She also did wonderful on the course! A few squeaks here and there, but overall just wonderful. One day we watched only 9 holes and she napped in the ergo (a baby carrier I wear on the front of me) the whole time. Below is a picture of her just content to go with the flow on the course.
We missed Brayden so much and were so happy to see him when we got home! I will admit, as we were flying out to Phoenix, we looked down from the plane after take off and to our surprise we saw Lake Steilacoom! We could see the "point" in the lake where my parents live, which is where Brayden stayed while we were gone. I did nuzzle my face into Bretts should and let out a few tears... but I knew he would have so much fun with his B-Bo and Mammy. He also got to spend one evening with his favorite babysitter, Kaitlyn, another evening with Grandpa & Grandma Overfield and all day Sunday with Auntie Karin. He had an action packed getaway himself!
The morning we left I was the volunteer mom for our Mom's Day Out program. Seriously inconvenient timing, being that we were supposed to leaving a few hours after this, but I was so happy to play with Brayden all morning. I took this video with my phone to show Brett how much Brayden LOVES Mom's Day Out. (Brayden is in brown, behind the girl dressed in all blue)
