"White Dare" Translation: Right There
This is a new phase at our house. Whenever Brayden asks for something, Brett and/or I will response, "right there" as we point to where the object is. Brayden understands this and looks to where we point and runs to get whatever he was looking for.
Whenever we ask Brayden where something is, his responds immediately with, "right there" (toddler language = white dare) and he points. However, we realized this is JUST a response, NOT an answer. It took me a few times of asking, him saying right there, and me searching, and searching, and searching.... Re-asking, then realizing, he is just aimlessly pointing while saying, "white dare." Here's an example of a situation at our house: The other day Brayden said, "Oh spider!" and I replied with, "Where?!?!?!" and he said, "Right there!" We went round and round for a few minutes... :) Luckily there was no spider anywhere to be found (I hope!).
Here's a cute picture of the kids from a couple days ago.
