Our little baby girl has just blossomed over the last month!
Her first month, she was pretty sleepy and "new". Brett & I noticed, pretty much starting on October 1st, she suddenly "woke up"! She is showing us her sweet little personality by really interacting with us. Always returning our smile with a smile. "Cooing" when we "baby talk" to her. She loves to have us hold her in standing position so she can see everything and work out her legs and hold her head steady. Big brother Brayden is becoming more and more fascinating to her. He will often serenade her (mostly "Bob the Builder" or "Rain, rain, go away") and sometimes he will even add in a dance to really impress her. Sienna is fascinated by him and loves to watch. She really loves laying on her playmat and on her tummy, however doesn't get to do it that often. It is too tempting for Brayden to try to "take care of her" himself, so she only gets these treats when I can 100% monitor the situation or when Bray is napping. Yesterday she was on her playmat when I was right there and Brayden said, "Sissy hold Brayden?" and went to lay on her, hehe! I was there to inform him that sissy can NOT hold Brayden, she's too little. She still is our little princess, but mostly because her tummy is slightly sensitive.
Overall, month two has been so interactive and full of smiles and her little fun noises. How can you not smile when a little girl gives you a big toothless grin?! It's so fun! (she is on my lap right now smiling, and even though she decided to wake up this morning at 5am, I can't help but to just keep smiling at her.)
Doctor appointment in a couple days and we will know how much she has grown.
