We had such a fun Mother's Day!
That morning I woke up to get brunch ready. As soon as Brett woke up he darted downstairs, through the kitchen and out to the garage. When he came back in he had a huge grin on his face and he handed me a ring and said, "Happy Mother's Day!" He was so excited and the ring is beautiful! It was very thoughtful and has a Pink Tourmaline stone in it (the birthstone for October). Shortly after we had a nice brunch at our house with the Overfield's. Then we went over to my parent's where Julie and I hosted a lunch for all the Putnam's (that were in town). With Greg and Andrew in college and Michael, Kik and Joel on the road our group was smaller and consumed much less food!! =)
